Bottle and Can Uniform Fundraiser
Dear Band Parents and Students,
The fundraising for the new band uniforms is ready for kick-off.
The first bottle and can drive is scheduled for May 31st - June 5th. Band students will need to work in teams (sign up sheets in band room) to canvass the city and pick up as many returnables as possible during the week.
We will need some parents to volunteer driving those teams that don't have a student driver. Students may drop bottles and cans at my home, 113 W Washington St (downtown) or the Starr home at 13215 Old Hickory Trail (behind the JH). I will also need at least two more parents to volunteer to be a drop site.
I have been asked by Meijer not to cash in our collection on the weekend. Therefore, we will return what we collect to the DeWitt Meijer on the morning of Tuesday, June 7th. If you have questions or to volunteer, contact me at 517-862-2484 or fundraising@dewittband.org.
Also, please don't forget the fund-raising meeting Tuesday, May 31st at 7pm.
